civic keeps cutting off

I have a 95 automatic. It keeps shutting off while im driving. I changed the oil filter and the ignition coil but its still cutting off. Does anyone know what it could be?

there could be a list of whats wrong.

when does it cut off? (while stopped, accelerating, decelerating, braking)

any electrical problems? Have you changed your fuel filter recently?

Are there occasions in which the car also won't start? If so, when this happens, attempt to determine whether the problem is cause by lack of spark at the plugs versus lack of fuel (e.g., main relay doesn't click or fuel pump doesn't prime).

In searching these forums for a similar problem with my 94 LX, I am seeing an unfortunate pattern. It seems that people sign up and ask for help and then rarely ever report back what fixed the car in the end.

This does not help others who are also seeking help. Is it too much to ask to let us know what solved the problem?

This is an ancient thread but I had a similar problem with my 1998 Civic. I posted my solution in the thread entitled, "Civic Shuts of Randomly". It was the ignition switch, for which Hondas are known to have problems with.
