civic starts then dies ...coil???

Hey I got a 1997 civic auto trans that starts the soon as the key is released it dies. I am thinkin coil???? Sometimes it runs just fine and will die just goin down the road. Maybe fuel pump???

When the engine dies, are all the lights on the dash OFF? When you turn the key to ON(II), do the dash lights always turn ON as normal? If not, the ignition switch may be the problem.

sounds like bad connection somewhere. Dont think its the coil going bad. Look for bad connections in the ignition circiut. The switch as the other fella said could also be at fault
