Since ive purcase my civic there has been a very annoying clanking coming from under the car. I jacked up my car and found that the heat shield on my exhaust was broken half off and i just took it off. That helped a little bit but it still clanks and rattles. Any ideas what it could be? I listened under the hood and it sounded like it was coming from the belt are or downpipe are but im not quite sure.
