Clutch Problem
 

My civic has been sitting for about two years. When i wrecked it, there was nothing wrong with the clutch. But now, there is no resistance. It has fluid, and there is no leak so I have no clue what is wrong with it.

no resistance in the pedal or none on the actual fork?

i know if thiers no pressure in the system then the pedal just drops and stays down... as well as if the throwout fork cylinder or what ever its called has shifted off the fork it will also just drop the pedal. id take off that cylinder or solinoid what ever its called and work the rod afew times...... it might just be stuck or came off during the wreck....

The pedal doesnt just sit on the floor, and it doesnt spring back into place. Its kind of in between. It takes way too little force to push it down. Also, I really doubt its from the wreck b/c it was fine until recently.

Have you looked for a fluid leak below the dash where the pedal meets the clutch master cylinder? Air in the system might cause the symptom you are experiencing. If you don't have any fluid leaks, I would recommend bleeding the clutch fluid to see if it restores pedal resistance.

Did you try to drive the car yet? Maybe just the spring at the top of the pedal broke and the clutch is working OK.

I would not suggest trying to drive it like that... you just never know what you could Eff up, lol:D

I meant just see if you can put it in gear and move a few feet to check if the clutch works at all. Obviously don't take it out on the road like that.
