cold air intake

I was just wondering if the steel mesh intake filters are worth anything or if I should stick with the regular cotton fiber filters? I couldn't find a K&N like I wanted so I got that instead. It's an APC filter. I figure the name's good. Maybe the filter will be too. Jusy lemme know some opinions. Thanks

I think you will find that this forum is not a big fan of APC (to say the least).

Trash it, I can pretty much guarantee K&N has a filter like you want, and trust me, it's worth it.

[sm=headbang.gif][sm=icon_beat.gif][sm=sigh.gif] APC means "A piece of Crap" Your taking about an air filter man.....u get a cheapo filter and it may come and bite u in the ass after u suck something up.

it wasnt cheap...and like i said, i couldn't find a K&N that would fit here. All they have its standard fits for regular applications. If I could have found one from K&N, believe me I would have bought it.

I found a K&N replacement and I took the APC back. And the manager gave me the K&N at the cost of the APC. SWEET!! I thought the K&N would run me about $50, but I got it for $35. Not bad at all...
