I'l bbe getting an ek9 soon ( i hope) and my plans are to swap the b18c in my ej8 to the ek9 and the d16 into my coupe , i need the harness thats in my coupe to run the b18c in the hatch right? or i can just leave the harness thats in the hatch and use that one? also my coupe is full power , if i swap the harness from the hatch with is manual will all the power stuff work ?

 

So with the wiring harness for the engine I would just leave the current one in the coupe and just rework the one on the hatch for the B18c mainly the thing your going to have to do is the Vtec wiring. And as far as the making everything in the hatch power. Well thats another job completely ask sov about making a hatch with all the power options. Or better yet check out the DIY he has floating around somewhere on here for it.

 

well wouldnt it be easier to take out the harness that i have in the coupe and transfer is to the hatch?

yeah i already found that , pictures arent working though. so can anyone explain to me about the harness what's more straight forward adding the vtec wire or just swap the harness from the coupe to the hatch?
