Crank but no start

Crank but no start
I have a 95 honda civic that won't start . The last time I drove it i gave it gas and it bogged down. . I went to start it again it started . But when I gave it gas it bogged all the way down . And won't start . ( I've checked the fuel pump it's working ) My engine check light is now on and (No error codes) .Timeing belt has been replaced and my distributor cap rotates if I crank ? Which would indacate that my belt it fine ? There aren't any codes stored . Which seems odd to me bc the engine check light is on . . I'm not getting spark . I believe . And I've replaced the distributor plugs and wires not to long ago . ( could there be a sensor that would cause it to crank but not start )?
Any help would be greatful please and thank you for all or any help .

Mine died after 5,000 miles with a new distributor I bought CHEAP on the internet. Turned out the coil self destructed. I bought one at Autozone for $62 and it fired right up. The parts stores will test your coil for free. It isn't hard to take it out of the dizzy.
