Where do i lock down to remove for timing belt replacement....and is it reverse thread

thought i let ya know the pulley tool was sweet 10 min"broke a craftsman socket" had to borrow a impact socket but tool was a dream got the sir tool ho 70 combo figure i got a 2003 civic lx and a 2005 ex element may as well do this **** myself when its needed

Yeah, I broke 2 half inch craftsman ratchets. I finally broke down and bought a good breaker bar. The tool held up nicely and made the job muc easier.
