Does anybody know which wires are for the horn on an EG? basically ive had a momo steering wheel on for a while now and was unable to have a horn. Now my car is due for its test and needs a horn to pass, so I bought a horn button and got out the haynes man.
None of the wiring diagrams make any sence though.
All I want to do is splice the horn wires before they go into the connectors behind the wheel, then run a couple a wires to the button im mounting on the ignition casing.
Its got me stumped, any ideas??

 

Can't tell you which wires, but what I'd do is get the old steering wheel out, get a battery and a small light bulb...

make a circuit with the old steering wheel harness and keep trying combinations until you get the light to work when you press the old horn button...

You could also try the reverse with just a paperclip and the harness still in the car, but your more likely to short something out...
