Unhappy Door locks

I had my Civic for about a month now and my doors will not lock or unlock whenever I hit the switch. Even the Car alarm does not activate the door locks... Can I get some advice please !!

Most likely the JVC head unit in there was wired incorrectly with the stock head unit, or the stock head unit was pitched altogether.

On the OEM system, the receiver for the keyless entry is contained within the OEM head unit. So when you replace the head unit, you need to run a series of jumper wires within the harness that still powers up the OEM head unit so it'll lock/unlock the doors. No sound comes from it, but you end up having to find a place to wedge it inside the dash so it'll all work.
