driveaxle removal/installation

Default driveaxle removal/installation

hey guys does it matter if the car is in gear when you try to pry out the trans axle...it wont budge with a long screwdriver...i'm headed to az to buy a pry bar now,if anyone knows drop me a line...i'm also going to go ahead and replace the oil seals for tranny...any thoughts or suggestions

I used a pickle fork to pop mine loose, 7 bucks at NAPA. They're held in there pretty good so it;ll take some effort
