I was involved in an accident where i hit a Jeep Cherokee at 35-40 mph head on. The passenger side airbag went off, but the mines did not. You think i can file a lawsuit? Is there any specific reason why it didn't go off?

 

If you are injured in any way and you've never messed with any electrical stuff in your car before, then I'd say yeah you've got yourself a viable lawsuit. Talk to your lawyer about it.

 

Definently get it checked out by an expert--see if your insurance agent knows how to go about this.

I hope you aren't hurt too badly, and please let us know what comes of it. If our airbags are defective we want to know.

 

i saw something on the news a while back about a guy that had the same thing happen. when they checked his air bag, it had been removed and filled with crushed cigarette cartons.

 

trying to sue who? honda? i hope you have alot of money to get a really good loyer because i think to get into the pockets of a big company like honda is not going to be easy...

i heard about somthing like this in the news also like NTX..it happend last year near here,i guy was folling to closly and hit a truck and his air bag didnt go off..so apparintly if it dosent go off they have to do a big investigation on why it didnt go off so they started checking it out and it turns out were the air bag was,it was full of weed
