Default dropzone coilover help today

hey guys, of course tech help at dropzone is closed today(saturday) and im having some issues..........heres the problem. I bought the DZ coilover set and new DZ strut/shocks. When i slide the alum sleeve over the new shock it doesnt slide all the way down to the spring seat, just short near the weld. Should the sleeve slide all the way down? not sure how to post a pic........any help would be great.

Im not real familiar with the dz kit but i would imagine you want it to sit flush(had vspec coilovers and they sat flush with my shock)...maybe its upside down or the weld is sticking out a little to much and you should file it down...hope someone comes through to help you out some more

i used a desktop wheel grinder to shave down the welds some and the sleeves sit better. the back ones sit fine but the adjusters sit in the oem lower sleeve, put one side front and back on and looks good, i will take more pics sunday and post them, thanks Powermidget.........this was the auction picture.......

well it looks like the front ones dont sit totally flush so you prob just want to get that locking ring under there and just tap it on tight with a ball end...the weight of the car might help....did you notice if they sat better once you put them on?
