Ok this is what im thinkin i want to do and i want ask the experts. i wanna buy this muffler called twin loop and i wanna buy a new resinator but i dont know what kind of res i should have. i dont have to worry about emissions so that helps alot. piping is going to be 2 inch or 2 1/4 top from the cat back. with a aftermarket res going to be to open and float valves or no? and dose it matter what kind of res?

No just go on ebay and get a test pipe for your year civic and then prime it and paint it high temp flat black to keep it from rusting. I would do 2.25 or maybe even 2.5 if you ever plan to turbo.

I'm not sure of what res you should use, but 2 1/4 is fine.

Also, you are in PA? And you dont have to worry about emissions??? Hook it up with some info!

even 2 inch is plenty, don't go 2.5 it'll hurt your bottom end power and it won't sound that great it'll be kinda tinny sounding

Ya in PA so i have like no limits lol. ya i was thinking 2 inch is plenty cause i dont have the extra money to boost it yet. As long as 2 isnt to much. i just want to make a little more power and have a little bit of sound. All the people around here run neons, cavs, and sunfires. i dont have a problem beating them i just want them to think twice about messin with a honda
