Default Extremely high compression

I did a compression test on my 93' dx and my result were as follows #1 175psi, #2 180psi, #3 180psi, #4 280psi.

Anyone have any ideas why it is so high on #4.

# 4 looks really high, did you do this with the engine hot or cold?

My question would be is cylinder 4 high or, alternatively, are the other three cylinders low?

180 is a good normal reading on a stock engine.

Thanks mk378. I didn't know what was the acceptable compression value range.

No, it's an excuse to run two cans of seafoam through your engine...
