Faulty Wipers
 

I have a 1995 Honda Civic Saloon, When I turn on my ignition my wipers come on full speed and I cant turn them off. The only way to get them off is to disconnect them from the back of the steering wheel. Anyone know what could be the problem?

You may have a bad switch. Here's how to test:

Could also be the switch in the motor that parks them. When you turn the column switch off, the motor switch is supposed to continue to run them until they get to the bottom of the window, then cut them off.

I don't know much about the wipers, but if the switch checks out thenthere might be a bad relay in the wiper system (although i'm not sure if there's a relay in the wiper system - hopefully someone else can tell you if there is). I had a similar problem with the headlights but they would eventually turn off after turning the switch on and off repeatedly for a LONG time.

The fact that the wipers run continuously at full speed seems to point to a problem with the wiper switch. My interpretation of the circuit diagram is that, if the park switch in the motor were stuck ON, then the wiper motor would run continuously at low speed rather than high speed. Furthermore, both the wiper switch and park switch control power to the wiper relay, so it is also an unlikely cause for the problem.
