Fixing a spoiler. Would love quick help:)
 

Hey guys, first post so im not quite sure if this is the right section but here is my problem.
I recently just bought a 2005 civic lx, and today i was not paying enough attention backing out of my drive way and backed into the plastic recycling bin. There was no damage to the bumper or anything, however the passenger side of the spoiler riped out. It seems that what ever the screws were stuck to inside the spoiler ripped out of it and now they do not want to stay in when i tried to push them back in.
What I would love to know is, is there any way that i can take the spoiler off and put something inside those holes then reattach the spoiler? or will have to spring the cash to buy a new one.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

the built in bolts have broken off your spoiler. I recommend very strong glue.

Yea that's what I'm thinking. If your good at body work stuff you could JB weld or bondo in some new nuts and thread new bolts into it from the inside of your trunk. It's prolly eaiser to just buy a new one though.

What you need to do is open your trunk lid and remove the 4 nuts, 2 on either side, of the spoiler. You can't miss them. The wires are attached to the spoiler so it'll be hard to work with. Lay the spoiler upside down on your trunk lid. Again, I recommend using epoxy or some other very strong glue to put the two broken bolts back onto the spoiler. That's your best bet other than complete replacement.
