Flasher Issue

93 Civic CX. When it is cold out the flashers don't work until the car warms up. Where is the flasher unit? It is not labelled in either the in car or engine compartment fuse boxes. Can someone post a picture showing it's location?

hum not sure.... but a easy way to find out is go to autopart store and have them look up what part number it is...... and you can see what it looks like then just find it and swap it out with the new one....

Are you referring to the turn signals, the hazard lights, or both?

Turn signals.Haven't checked the hazard lights yet.

Start by checking whether fuse #43 (10A) in under-hood fuse/relay box or fuse #15 (10A) in under-dash fuse/relay box is blown (see pictures). If so, replace.

(by the way, I assume that fuse #43 is one of the two unlabeled fuse slots at the left bottom of the box.)

If fuses are good, the next step would be to test the turn signal relay and replace if necessary (see picture below and in next post).

Good luck!

last picture...

If you don't find either bad fuses or a bad relay, you would next consider bad wires or a bad switch on the steering column.
