Exclamation Friends 2001 Civic totalled, what should I pull off it before it gets taken away?

Hello,
A friends 2001 Civic was totalled after a front end impact.
I need to pull out the stereo and speakers.
What else should I pull that is easy off it before it gets taken away?
ECU?

also HOW do I remove a stereo on that thing. I have a short time frame to get it out and put the stock one back. (I have never been a honda owner.)

Kevin

the radio should be easy to pull besides that there isn't much that i would pull off that car if it was a 00 then it would be a whole different story.

Anything you can get your hands on man! Have wrenches? Remove everything! Alternator, coil, power steering, battery, injectors, intake, exhaust, harness and all the light bulbs. Strip it! And then sell the parts

anything aftermarket and replace with stock.. insurance will cut your money down for parts that are missing so you cant rly strip it.. i would buy it back off the insurance company and part it out..

well you dont have to reinstall the stock parts, if anything just put them in the trunk after pulling your good parts out. the cars being totaled so its going to be at the junk yard anyways so as long as all the equipment is there they cannt say much.

Safe driving,
Kevin
