fuel pump fuse

Hey guys, i recently came across a post from a few years ago and realized that this question was left unanswered. So I want to bring it back up since I wanted to know the answer myself. Here is the original post.

ORIGINAL: demoniclizard

I don't really have any money to buy an alarm and I will be temporarily working in an area with a lot of car theft going on...so in trying to find cheap ways to protect my car I figured if I just took out the fuel pump fuse when I left the car anyone who tries to start it...wont be able to. My question is, is there any sort of damage that can result from repeatedly removing the fuel pump fuse, and leaving it out for extended periods of time?

Anyone can answer that?

RE: fuel pump fuse

i cant personally said any bad about it...but my brother did that for about 1-2 months on his prelude for the same security reasons...and he did not get any problems because of that...

but that obviously doesnt mean that it applies as for a fact...as it does not prove anything...

;)
