Well. I went off what fglaustin said and dropped the tank lol> guess what its not there its acually not 2 inches from my block. But hey the more you know about your car the better you can drive it. XP. Still me and my bro are pissed cause that was 2 hours of waisted time. AND STILL we have to put it back together.... weeve got most of the crap done

BTW it is Carburated (untill i get a job. Then HELLO B-18 FUEL INJECTED)

Your fuel pump is in the engine bay? I thought only the filter was supposed to be up there

sorry to hear - i posted back somewhat timely to say i was not sure.
AND, to say where it is does not presume the procedure - because even in the tank, some cars have plates on the body (under the carpet or seat) that one can access the fuel tank and pump without removing the tank. just did not get that far in these posts.
i do not think that carbs have electric fuel pumps.

Lol remember my little hatch his this mini little trunk and its plastic at the bottem so id have to remove alot of my hatch interior to get down tehre. (EVERYTHIGN IS MADE OF PLASTIC) lol anyway atleast it gave me a chance to see alot of the condition of the gas tank (hoses and sensor). either way im getting a new fuel pump from a local junk yard this saturday. (its already been tested for wether or not it works). BLARGY.

FOR ALL TO KNOW. THE FUEL PUMP ON A 1987 CRX HF IS 3 INCHES TO THE LEFT OF THE READING HONDA ON THE ENGINE BLOCK.
