fuel smell inside car, rear seat area

Default fuel smell inside car, rear seat area

so when im driving my civic, i smell gasoline. i took the rear seat out and theres a plate in the floorpan. is the fuel pump under here? why am i able to smell fuel? are there any seals i should check? its stinky, and its hard to drive buzzing. somebody 'elp me!

yes fuel pump is under that, take that cover off and take a look see if it leaks,

Ya... ha ha thats not such a good thing, like 94 said, fuel pumps right there, but you should also have a rubber seal on that plate as well... so if thats missing you might want to get that, but no matter what, you should NOT be smelling fuel...
