Fuse Trouble

I bought a 1996 Honda civic Dx a few months ago and it already had fog lights installed, The lights appear to be directly spliced into the running lights and about once a week the fuse for them blow. My first thought was that maybe the fogs lights were pulling to much power for the fuse so i upped it to 25 amps but it blew again tonight. I'm unsure if it is the way the fogs are connected is the problem but i can't think of anything else. Any Ideas?

Also, I plan on re-wiring them later this week but if there is an easier way I want to know.

Don't use larger fuses. With that said, if you're blowing 25 amp fuses, there must be a short to ground somewhere.

The stock wiring in a Civic is rather thin and made only to support the stock parts. So re-wire with a relay and a direct (fused) feed from the battery.

Thanks. I rewired everything and it seems okay. Running lights worked fine last night.
