Hey i recantly installed a new clutch, flywheel, and transmission on my 89 honda civic hb. Now my friend lost the bolt that goes into the gear shifter. The bolt he found was a little big but it barely fit. And now it is really stiff. I can drive and all. Goes into gears. But it dont move normally ( gear shifter ) . You really have to put effort into shifting lol. KNocks a good 2 seconds onto your shift timing. NOT GOOD FOR RACING lol Now do you think its the bolt? If so where can i get the bolt from that actually fits in it? how much?

 

you can try honda, dont kow $ though, also, try a nylon lock nut, it doesnt have to be tight to hold, if you crank down on that bolt, it will bind it up and it will be slow.
