h22 and stock civic radiator
ive been told that the stock civic radiator isnt that great for the h22 swap. would anybody here know from experience or just flat out know. Using the stock radiator would it be good to take on a long drive.

I did a b16 swap in my 2000 and left the stock radiator, it started overheating so I changed my rad. cap and now its fine, I lose a little bit of coolant every now and then but thats it. I would assume on a bigger motor that you may not have to, but to prevent any problems down the road you should at least start to think about a new one. I know I am and I have a smaller motor than that in there now. Its kinda like preventative maintenace you know. Besides, depending on how old the one you have in there now is it could be all crudded up andstuff. So its may just be time to go with a new one anyway. But its not my car. If it were mine, I would do it. But its your call. If you wanna play a game of chance its totally up to you.
