These are my headlights in the attached photo. My problem is with the Halos and only the Halos. A few months after having a friend install them on my car, one of the Halos started to flicker, just the left side of the Halo while the right side stayed lit. After some time goes by a few other halos started flickering at random speeds or just go out. I've been told by several people its probably bad wiring which may be the case, but are there any other known problem with halos i am not aware of? It is extremally annoying to look at. The wires are twisted together with black electrical tape.

sounds like they aren't grounded properly to me.

 

mine did that and so did my friends i believe that they are just faulty

 

so what did you and your friend do? just get new headlights?

 

gound wire mabey...i have the same headlights as you and when i was installing them that happend to me, it tuned out where i had my ground wasent attached tightly

REALLY good find man!!![sm=hail.gif][sm=hail.gif][sm=hail.gif]...you no how many days i have been on the net searching for somthing like that, now i dont have to worry about my halos crappying out and not being able to fix that

 

After having taken my headlights apart I see there were no resistors behind the LED's, maybe thats why they didnt last very long.

 

Mine flickered for a while too and finally went out. that happend like a month ago and i havent looked at it yet
