Default Ham Radio Civic Coupe lx 2007

I just purchased a new 2007 Honda Civic Coupe LX and would like to install my 2 meter radio. Is there an easy way to pass 2 wires from inside the car to the battery in the engine compartment? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Tom

Default Firewall grommet?

I am going crazy looking for a way to get to the battery through the firewall. Can someone please tell me if there is a grommet or knockout someplace under the dash?
Thanks!

There's a couple there, somewhere. The easiest way is to look at the fire wall from the engine bay side. On my '97, there was a rubber grommet not far from the battery that worked perfectly for running stereo wiring through.

Poke another hole in the gromet for the big stock wiring harness.

I actually found 3 grommets above the foot rest. I was able to snake a wire all the way to the battery.
Thanks !
