has anyone ever done a powertrain swap. taking the all wheel drive from the CRV and putting into something?? just wondering not gonna do it, just seeing if its possible

also, what is "bump" and FTW?? sorry cant seem to figure those out lol noob here

 

never heard of anyone doing a complete swap (including the AWD system) although I have heard of people using the engine from the CRV.

Bump is simply a way of moving the thread to the top of the list to get more views. Its easier for people to read your thread if its near the top of the list. However, most forums limit "bumps" to one per day. Check the forum rules to be sure.

i dont know of anyone who has even tried to swap the awd into a civic. but ive swapped the b20engine from a fwd crv into alot of civics

 

ohhh ok i thought the CRV had a D16 in it, didnt know it had a b20. hmmmm might have to take a wrench to my brothers car

But Punisher did a awd V8 swap on his EF hatch, got stolen before it was completely done with, and the guy who stole it wrapped it around a tree going at high speed.
