I HAVE A 1996 HONDA CIVIC CX AND IM WANTED TO PUT IN A UNIVERSAY TACH. NOW DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA WHICHWIRE IS THE RPM ONE UNDER THE DASH. THE CAR ORINALLY DOESNT HAVE ONE... ANY HELP THANKS

 

all civics have a tach wire...6th gens for sure have one both in the cluster harness and in the engine bay...its going to be blue with gray "dashes" on it....

 

behind the cluster its the blue wire on the engine temp harness, and in the engine bay next to the driver side fender you will find another blue wire with a cap on it. Thats also a spare tach signal, wire it into either one of those and you should be good.

What up people again. Well i got the tach hooked up and i have a nother question about it. Well teh shift light i dont know wheer the wires go. Ill try to describe it teh best i can. Well there are 2 black wires for the shift lift and it tells me to hook these to wires to the terminal screws... Now the only terminal screws i know oif are teh ones in teh fuse box by teh battery..... What do you guys think.. Thanks for the help again
