Heat doesn't work

Make sure the engine is on and running,,,,,,JK.
Make sure coolant level is proper with in the cooling system.
Make sure the coolant flow control valve is functioning properly if so equipped.
Make sure the air control valve is functioning properly.
Make sure the thermostat is functioning properly.
These are the things I can come up with for now and are pretty much basic stuff.
What do I know? I'm just a shade tree auto mechanic. Good luck to you.
