will 27mm socket take it out

You could buy a replacement oil pressure switch first and take the measurement of the hex.

My bike has an oil pressure switch that looks like the one for a Honda and the size is 27mm. The thing is when I replaced the switch on Accord it was not that big socket I used if I remember correctly. It could have been 7/8" socket I used,,,,,,,. On a Civic, I have not had any need for replacing it, yet.

Thanks, sons friend brought car over with oil leaking from unit. He thought it took a 24 mm socket. the one on car was a 24mm the new one was 26mm. worst part was getting baked on rubber cover off. I see they make a tool just for changing the unit and it fits both sizes.
