HID questions
 

I just bought a HID kit and was wondering a few things.
Are they going to go on as my daytime running lights?
Are they going to flash when I arm my alarm?
My main concern is that they aren't always on as my daytime running lights. I don't want to wear them out that quickly.
I only want them to go on when I twist the existing light switch in my car.
Any help would be appreciated, and yes I did a search before I posted this.
