How can I tell if I need Hadsys or Saden AC compressor?
I took my car to the shop today to see why my AC wasn't working and I was told its the compressor, so I've been looking at different compressors online and I need to know if I need a Hadsys or a Saden, does anyone know of way I can tell? I have a 95 Civic DX. Any help would be awesome.
Label on the side of the compressor.
If your compressor has siezed up, in the process of coming apart inside it will have likely sent little bits of metal into the system, particularly the condenser. These need to be cleaned out or they will come around and destroy the new compressor. The condenser is almost impossible to clean, so replace it. Also replace the receiver-drier and possibly the expansion valve.
