how to remove pen stripes.
 

i got a 96 civic lx, it's stock dark green with the gay gold pen stripes down the side, does any one know how to remove them? easily and nicely

either A) slightly with a heat gun and plastic stripper or B) it could be painted on which requires a new paint job.

I have the same lame pin striping on my civic, but its getting old I guess because the last time I went to the car wash some of it peeled off when I was using the high pressure spray wand. In hindsight I should have gotten right in there and tried to remove it all instead of trying to keep it from coming off.

100% heat gun its easy as pie. Take it slow. Use a pencil eraser to get remnants... carefully.
