im takein out my 1.6 d16y7 and putin a dual engaged vtec d15 b in

3-stage VTEC? Good luck with that... You need the right ECU for that to work and they are VERY rare. You'll probably never find one, unless the engine comes with it... but keep in mind there is a difference between the auto and manual ECUs.
