I've replaced brake pads on my cars or motorcycles before, but I've never attempted it on a vehicle with ABS brakes. Is there anything different at all about this installation?

 

Replacing the disc brake pads on an ABS car is the same as you have done on other cars.

 

Thanks RonJ. The instructions and diagrams will be a great help too! I'm going to try one more question to see if anyone else has had this annoying symtom. When applying my brakes, near the end of the pedal stroke, a small thunk or clunk can be felt by my foot and it is slightly audible too. Took it back to Honda and they checked it out and called it normal. Any ideas?

 

You may be feeling the normal effects of the ABS system kicking in.

 

It does it every time though, whether I'm applying the brakes soft or hitting them harder, even while parked and always at the end of the stroke (when the pedal is closest to the floor).
