ideal tongue weight

Hey guys I`m new here and any help would be great . I`m currently Getting my 05 civic ready to pull a trailer and was wondering what would be a reasonable tongue weight for this car ? I`m pulling 2 mx bikes -450 pds and atrailer-approx 150 pds .

Thanks Gene . I `m thinking that to get my TW to inbetween 10-15% of my GTW( which is 450pds bikes and 150pd trailer ) I should be leaning on the civic by about 75 lbs which is 12.5 % ? Right ?

I wouldn't put more than 100lb on it. I've got a 1.25" receiver rated for 2000lb tow/200lb tongue on my '00 sedan, and it doesn't seem like something I'd want to put much more than 3 racked 25lb bicycles on. The suspension and wheelbearings may not like much more if you're simultaneously using the trunk and backseat either.
