Default Indicator Light Question

Well, my car came without a manual for whatever reason, so i'm left wondering what one of my indicator lights means? Its circled in red in the picture below. What does this little green light mean? It comes on and goes off when i turn my lights on, and off respectively. So i figure it just means the lights are on?? The fact that its close to the words "Maintenence Required" makes me nervous.

forgot the pic last time...

little green light routine maintainance is due when it's red you can simply rest it ( back to green) by pushing the indented black button on the instrument panel.

so that "IS" the maintenence required light? I thought the words Maintenence Required actually lit up, anyway... What does that usually pertain to as far as, what exact maintenence is required?
