Installing a SRI and need a quick tip

i bought a sri off ebay on the cheap and it come with almost everything....but no instructions. i have it on and mounted now.

my question is there are 2 ports in the middle of the pipe and i can only figure out where 1 hose goes. the one i have hooked up is leading to the valve cover on top of the engine. that was the easy one to figure out cause it lead to the air box.

the other one is a complete mystery to me. does anyone know what hose i have to unhook and route it into the pipe?

losing daylight so if someone could give me a quick answer i would be grateful.

If you mean short ram intake,

My air charge temp sensor hooks into a line that is hooked to the tube.

This is the sensor

If you need help with something like this, please list details about your vehicle.

It seems as if you purchased a mass-produced eBay intake. Which should many applications....all of those with different set-ups for sensors.

I am going to take a guess and say you have a 92-95 Civic. If so, just plug the hole. The hole is for 96-00 IAT (intake air temp sensors). The EGs (92-95) have them in the intake manifold, thus the hole is not needed.

If you are using the filter you got with the eBay intake, look to replace it. They are not as good as others. The pipe is fine, but go get yourself an AEM Dryflow filter.

yep sorry. should have said what my car is. its a 97 civic.

i went ahead and plugged the hole. i was going to replace the filter tonight with a spectre but it was a 3 inch and up filter and my pipe is a 2.5 inch. thanks all.
