I've changed stereos many, many times in other vehicles, but this one has me stumped. After installing it, the thing won't turn on and now the alarm doesn't work either as well as the power locks. I tried putting the old one back in, but same result. Any ideas on what to do with it? HELP!!!!!!!!!

 

i have the same/similar problem, the keyless entry won't work either, and the power locks only work when the car is on
anybody have any ideas? i'm pretty sure its not a fuse or short circuit problem, but maybe i could of missed something?

 

mightve shorted something out or check the fuses

 

any specific fuses i should check? or just check every single one
i already replaced the "Radio ACC' one on the inside fuse box, and i did the same with the "power lock" on in the fuse box outside
also if there was a short circuit, is there anything more to fixing it than just uncrossing them? or do i have to reset anything?

 

nevermind, i did in fact miss something. it was the 10A "Back Up" fuse from the outside fuse box
