Key gets really hot

I've got an 06 Civic LX Coupe and I've noticed my key gets burning hot when I take it out of the ignition. Is that normal? I thought that maybe it was, but its REALLY hot. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Not normal go back to the dealership and tell them, could be something wrong with the ignition.

some wires could be crossed and getting really hot next to the key, how long have you had the car? hopefully you get if fixed before something catches on fire and burns your car to the ground. That would be very bad
