First time post

I have a 2001 Honda Civic EX coupe that has a little problem. My keyless entry does not work. I have replaced batteries in the doggle and tried a couple things that just dont work. The thing is that the lights still flash and the locks try to engage when i hit the "lock" button. I have narrowed the problem down to the driver side door because if that is locked and the passenger door is unlocked it will lock when the lock button is pushed. I dont know if this is a possible fuse problem (unlikely) or a physical problem with the mechanism inside the door. If it is i would like to know how to get the interior panel off of the door and remedy the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
