Default Knock sensor question

I was wondering if there is any need to get an OEM sensor for a civic compared to aftermarket? I really don't see the harm at all in using a third party part just for this alone.

If third part is ok then where would be a good place to get one online?

Thanks

oem and aftermarket will be fine, you can look on ebay or stop at your local part store and buy it.

Is there a reason that alot of people are suggesting to go OEM over aftermarket even though its a minor difference in price from the 2?
