RE: Leaky Sun Roof HELP!!

Well.. it can't be that complicated. Where is it leaking? It's probably just the seal around it...

it's usually not the seal at all. It's more likely the drain tubes, there is probably junk stuck in there. you'll need to clean them out somehow. they empty into your wheel wells.

Yeh hat sounds more likely.. can you flush them with loads of water?

i sould use some air pressure.... you can get more pressure on it than ya can water.....
as long as its a original OEM sunroof it probably is just the drain holes cloged up....
of if compressed air doesnt do the trick they try using a straightened coat hanger... or also... peel back the trunk carpeting on both sides and look at the drain hoses.... most likely its cloged down low anyways....

do you think i should use one of those drain unblocking capsules and fill it with that and water? dya rekon it would eat away all the crap?

If not what can i use for air pressure?

Cheers for help..

RE: Leaky Sun Roof HELP!!

if ya got a friend with alittle air compressor and a air gun which are preaty typical tools.....
but just peel back the trunk carpeting on both sides and just look at the tubes that exit right behind the bumper cover if it looks realy dirty you could try to put some water down the hose and then simply work the dirt and water around and try to soften it up to just rinse it out... just a MAYBE air pressure is the easiest way to blow it out then try rinsing out the tube with a hose but just not full blast of course ;) dont want to flood the car... hahahaa
