Default License plate bracket:

Hey all.. Nother one of those fixes on the beasty I need advice on.

all of the holes front and back for mounting the license plates have broken off and rusted in bolts, if the mechanic can't make it workable, for the front at least, would it be safe to screw the bracket I bought for the front offset to left or right of the holes on the front bumper directly into the rubber part of the bumper, or will that bracket vibrate or get blown loose while driving?

Thanks again ladies and gents!

Drilling new holes to screw the front license plate on directly works fine. Use sheet metal screws that are long enough to go through the metal reinforcing bar behind the plastic and foam cover.
