Lighting Issue Civic ESI Hatchback 1995

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Noticed that my side lights were not working so pulled the bulbs and replaced them, still did not work. Tested the lights with battery and they work fine. Also noticed that the dashboard light (not indivual bulbs for battery, abs etc etc) does not come on, along with the light around the automatic shifter? Usually when I turn the lights on the clock will dim a little, but this does not happen since this problem has occurred. Has anyone any idea what could be the cause of this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'll bet the tail lights on the back of the car don't work either. Everything you describe is all on the same fuse, one of the fuses under the dash. If you find the fuse is OK, next test if power is reaching the fuse with the light switch on, if not it's probably the light switch.

Check 10A dash fuse #19.
