Default Low idle and stalling after changing timing belt??

Just got done changing time belt on a 2000 ex coupe 5-speed. Car starts up and idles fine when cold. But idles low and stalls when warm and coming to stops.

Was idleing fine before changing timing belt.

new plugs/wires/cap and rotor replaced last spring.

What would cause a low idle/stalling after changing timing belt?

Scanned and throwing no codes.

ideas?

Have you checked the ignition timing with a timing gun?

Alternatively, the timing belt is installed one tooth OFF from the cam and crank being synchronized at TDC1. This is what you should carefully double check first:

Sometimes Civic engines will run but poorly when the mechanical timing is off by a tooth. It's pretty easy to check as shown in the diagram. By the way, only turn the crankshaft counterclockwise when checking TDC1.

Otherwise, hook up a timing light with the service connector jumped. If you can't set the ignition timing to spec, then the mechanical timing must be off.

pulled the 7.5 fuse under hood for couple minutes....and reinserted and let car idle for 20 minutes and took for ride.

runs FINE now, maybe it needed to relearn its idle.

will keep u posted..............

That's good. You may benefit from bleeding the cooling system of trapped air.
