i have a 91 hb with a 93 ls motor. i was on my way home from buying another car and the car suddenly overheated and started surging. so i stopped at the gas staion and filled up w/ antifreeze and water. it did ok for a while afterwards thern started overheating again. so i pulled over again and bled the cooling system. that fixed the overheating. but then the car died at the stop light. and is now sputtering around like a wind up toy that hardly works anymore. im thinking that its the dizzy. but my question is, does the dizzy go out slowly, or will it just outright fail when its broken. anything helps thqanks

ya the dizzy can go out slowly by friends did that does it do it after the car gets warmed up i would take the cap off and check and see if anything is noticable too

 

i got it all fixed, just went and got a new dizzy, it was under warrenty. but thanks for the info.
