Missing/slipping Gears
 

Hello All ,
I have a Honda Civic Lx automatic and lately it has been missing /slipping gears .Generally when I am approaching traffic signal and slow down and then all of a sudden ,Traffic signals turns green and I dont need to halt completely and press on the accelerator ,Car will take a jerk and tehn move ,Some times it is too slow to move and some times it just speeds up .It is 2001 model and has aprox 200 km on it .I am wondering if it is complete transmission issue , Can it be fixed ? How much cost we are looking at ?
My car is worth aprox 1800-2000 dollars .Is fixing this thing at this stage is worth it ?
