Is my cv joint in all the way?

Default Is my cv joint in all the way?

I'm confused i bought a new oil seal for the drivers side trans. and i installed it however im not to sure if i did it right so heres some pics of the left side cv joint

can you try and get a clearer pics maybe from a better angle?

what are you doubting?
the seal should be flush with the metal casing and the cv axle should snap in (not pull out easy)

Yeah, blurry pictures. Should be only about 1/8" between the inner CV joint and transmission.

well when i put in the new seal and i put in the cv joint it pushed it in about inch er 2 and i had to pull it out but yeah ill get some better pics tonight

okay heres some new pics from the look of it its not flush and im guessing ima have to take it apart again? do yall have any tips on putting in the cv joint with out pushing the seal inside the trans.?

I think the axle is fully inserted into the transmission, but it appears that you did not tap in the oil seal flush with the transmission.
